Breakdown of the common Animal Cells: Inside the outer layer of the animal cell which is commonly known as the cell membrane you will notice that there are many other structures in the animal cells which are used for many different purposes including reconstruction of other cells and the survival of this cell. The membrane is the cell wall which houses all of the internal structures of the animal cell and protects them from external harm. The brain of the cell which is not actually a brain but more of a command centre is called the nucleus of the animal cell which is responsible for most of the changes and manipulation that happens within the animal cells.

There are also other parts within the cells which have specific roles like the mitochondria which are used for the construction of other cells. The mitochondria are important for the survival of the cells in turn but not actually for the survival of that single cell. The mitochondria help the cells to multiply and create more cells which ensure their survival. Once the organism is dead then the cells stop growing and this can also happen if cells have cancerous viruses in them.

The animal cell is what makes up most of the human body including muscle cells, organ cells, bone cells and many other cells in the body. In the blood stream there are several cells which deliver goods to the organs or muscles plus they remove waste from the body such as lactic acids and carbon dioxide. Cell division is called mitosis which is what happens when one cell becomes two by splitting and dividing.

The other form of cell production is referred to as meiosis which is cells that sexually reproduce. Some of the cells in the human body attach to each other while other cells float around the body freely until they are needed or run into a counterpart organism which uses or changes the cell in some ways. The cells in animals and humans are relatively the same with only a few differences with different species of animals.

Are animal cells just like humans? When we ask the question are animal cells just like humans it is best to acknowledge that humans are animals so the answer can only be yes. Different animals have different cells but the cell structure is basically the same. All animal cells grow, multiply and die during their lifecycles which is a part of the processes of animals. If cells did not grow then our bodies would not grow and if cells did not multiply then our cells would all die off and we would die too. If the cells did not die then our bodies’ would keep growing like those unfortunate people with gigantism until we outgrow our own bodies?

A long lasting cell is more susceptible to changes, diseases and mutation which is the common cause of cancer, so the repopulation of cells via re-growth and division is essential to our survival. This has been going on since humans were only limited cellular organisms which eventually became the perfect bodies that we know now.

Just like the human cells the animal cell has a nucleus and many other organelles to regulate body functions and metabolic processing. Animal cells generally contain the nucleus, nucleus envelope, plasma membrane, plasma, intermediate filaments, peroxisome, vacuole, lysosome, centrioles, golgi apparatus, microtubules, ribosomes, mitochondrion and cytosol.

All of these cell parts are essential for the cell survival and for the cells ability to reproduce and metabolize nutrients. Animal cells cannot make their own food like plant cells can however they are responsible for the breakdown of foods in your body.
